It’s been quite the year for Amy Schumer. The hilarious comedian has been named ‘People’ magazine’s Most ‘Intriguing’ Person of 2015, and we have to say, it was definitely a great pick!

Congratulations, Amy Schumer! The 34-year-old really made a name for herself in 2015, and she’s been given the honor of People’s Most Intriguing Person of the Year due to all of her success. Find out her biggest highlight of the last 12 months right here!

“Hosting Saturday Night Live was the highlight of my year,” she tells the mag. “It was a dream come true.” Amy experienced an influx of career success this year, with her Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer, earning an Emmy award and her movie Trainwreck becoming a box office success, but she’s done so much more than that!

The funny actress has made headlines for a number of reasons, including, most recently, her practically nude photo shoot for Pirelli calendar. She also formed a buzzed-about friendship with A-lister Jennifer Lawrence, who she’s been seen spending a lot of time with and is also writing a movie with! And who could forget when she jokingly fainted right in front of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the red carpet?!
Amy has also called for change this year. She joined forces with her cousin, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, to ask for better gun control laws after a deadly shooting occurred during a screening of Trainwreck. “I’m not sure why this man chose my movie to end those two beautiful lives and injure nine others, but it was very personal for me,” she said. “Enough is enough. These shootings have got to stop. I don’t know how else to say it.” Definitely a huge year for Amy
