John Terry is to face the ignominy of playing for Chelsea's second team, while Marcos Rojo very nearly left Manchester United. That and more from Monday's papers.
Paper Round's view - Being
benched in meaningful matches is bad enough and while that made his
second-choice status plenty clear, but there is added humiliation to
playing in the League Cup against a League One side. Mourinho doesn't
have a choice, quite frankly - Terry needs to stay fit and the Blues
need someone to play if they're going to rest the first team - but that
doesn't make it any easier on Terry. He has to know his days at the club
are numbered now.
