Morocco to Take Part in ‘World Travel Market’ in London

London – Morocco will take part in the international tourism fair “World Travel Market” (WTM) slated on Nov. 2-5, 2015 in London with an important delegation of professionals and tourism operators, led by tourism minister Lahcen Haddad.

Haddad will seize this occasion to reassure British tourists about the Moroccan destination and run a positive image of a stable Morocco that draws tourists, said a statement by the tourism ministry.

Staged annually in London, World Travel Market – the leading global event for the travel industry – is a vibrant must attend business-to-business event presenting a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to UK and International travel professionals. It provides a unique opportunity for the whole global travel trade to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business.
On the sidelines of this edition and as part of his working visit to London, Haddad will meet with British operators to foster partnership on tourism. He will also clarify, for the British public opinion, any misrepresentation of Morocco given the region’s geostrategic situation.
The event is expected to attract over 5000 exhibitors from 142 countries and over 40% of visitors from around the world.
