It’s been over a week since Ronda Rousey lost her UFC title to Holly Holm, but she’s still making headlines – because of her feet! A photo showing her discolored soles and toes has stirred a debate among fans and pros alike about what caused the weird condition.
Yikes! Ronda Rousey‘s face wasn’t the only thing to take a beating after she was knocked out by Holly Holm, 34, on Nov. 14. Curious Reddit users have blown up a photo of the 28-year-old’s feet that show her toes being a jaundiced yellow color while the pads of her feet are purple. So what’s up with Ronda’s discolored tootsies? Luckily some fighting pros know about the scary looking condition and why it happens. Read on for more!Las Vegas-based fighting photographer Ryan Loco tweeted, “see that a lot on the fighter’s feet. Always freaks me out. I blame the canvas.” Julie chimed in to his comment with the reply “canvas and cold. My feet always turned yellow.” She also noted the material used on the floor of the octagon can rub off on the fighters’ feet so that could also explain Ronda’s discoloration.
Julie also shared a photo on her Twitter account giving a hard kick to a competitor’s head, and in it her feet appear to be somewhat yellow as well. In her discussion with Ryan she added “dis ma foot. Yellow too and I swear I didn’t juice EVER. I don’t think Rousey did/does either.” CLICK HERE To check out Ronda’s Book ‘My Fight/Your Fight.”
