Jennifer Lopez Kicks Off American Music Awards With Mind-Blowing Dance Routine

Jennifer Lopez blew us away with her AMAZING opening number to kick of the 2015 American Music Awards! She danced along to samples of some of the night’s nominated songs. She’s also hosting the big event, is there ANYTHING this woman can’t do?

Show host Jennifer Lopez, 46, got things going in a major way by performing body shaking dance numbers to some of the night’s biggest songs. She and her dance troupe got the crowd on their feet with the most epic opening number of an awards show we can remember! Read on for what songs she shook her famous booty to!

When does Jennifer Lopez not completely bring 100 percent to her live performances? The star not only has the honor of hosting the AMAs but she also opened the show with a fearless performance of red-hot dance routines from everything  from hip hop, to pop to country. Way to BRING IT! J-Lo!




Wearing a glittery catsuit in multicolored exotic patterns, she opened with singing lines from her hit “Waiting For Tonight” while wearing a native inspired fur coat, before saying, “Tonight is not about me, it’s about the music. And this year’s music makes me wanna dance, Do you wanna dance with me?” she said to the crowd and YES did they ever!
She threw off the coat and immediately launched in to a dance routine set to Bruno Mars‘ “Uptown Funk.”  J Lo continued to dance to “Feel Myself” by Beyonce and Nicki Minaj, while the camera panned to The Weeknd, who couldn’t take his eyes off Jenny’s moves.

Drake‘s “Hotline Bling” got the biggest applause from the crowd as it’s sample came on, while J Lo then moved on to a sexy one and one routine to Ed Sheeran with one of her backup dancers.
When Justin Bieber‘s sample came on, the camera cut to the audience, where Justin was wearing a light gray hoodie and doing the robot to his own music! So cute!
We can’t wait for more of J Lo’s amazing looks as the night goes on! She already transitioned into am amazing peach colored chain link gown to announce the first awards just minutes after bringing down the house in her opening routine. She even did a total change of her hair as well, pulling it into a tight topknot.
