Kourtney Kardashian, it’s time to lay down the law. Now is not the time for Scott Disick to return to his old stomping grounds and habits by leading the partying as a host in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve.

Kourtney Kardashian, you’ve been through years of agony dealing with Scott Disick‘s addictions and bad behavior. Now, not even a month since he left rehab on Nov. 10, the news is out that he’ll be the host of 1OAK’s big New Year’s Eve bash in Las Vegas. He’s busy publicizing it on his Instagram, announcing, “Vegas, I’m back,” and promoting a contest to win a free VIP trip to meet him. What the heck? Kourtney, you need to stop this nonsense, now!

Even more to the point — Scott — what are you thinking? Have you learned nothing from either your first 30-day stint in rehab, or from Lamar Odom‘s tragic alleged overdose? Or from how you’ve alienated yourself from partner Kourtney Kardashian and your three beautiful children? You are beyond lucky that Kourtney appears to be open to reconciling with you after rehab. She knows how essential it is for her children to have a father . But Scott and Kourtney, you need to realize how dangerous it is for Scott to return to the scene of so much of his drinking and partying, and especially so soon after just getting sober for the first time in years.
Scott, 32, you’re putting your newfound “sobriety at risk. His” sobriety needs to be his number one priority right now. And if that means finding a new line of work, so be it,” insists addiction expert Steven Ornstein to Hollywoodlife.com in an exclusive interview. “He should not be participating in anything alcohol related…Scott is too new to recovery to be spending New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. There are too many temptations.” Kourtney, you don’t need to be an addiction expert to see the logic in this. You should be insisting that Scott stay away from clubs, alcohol and Las Vegas all the time from now on and forever, rather than plunge into the midst of all three.
We’ve heard at Hollywoodlife.com that you’re okay with Scott doing this hosting gig, and that you’re considering it a “last test” before taking him back. “She wants Scott to have a sober friend with him during his club gig, and she wants it to be made very clear to staff that no alcohol is allowed in the VIP area,” an insider tells Hollywoodlife.com. Kourtney, that’s all very well-intentioned, but it’s still putting him into a seductive situation that he may not have the strength to resist, even though he has told you that “his New Year’s resolution is to be sober and a better father to his children and a better boyfriend” to you, another source told Hollywoodlife.com exclusively.

Kourt, 36, we sure hope that Scott would be capable of passing that test and we were happy to see you, Scott and the kids spending time together last weekend, but don’t you think you should listen to the addiction experts? Kourtney, why don’t you ask the team who treated Scott at his rehab center whether he should be the party leader in Vegas on New Year’s? If they say no, forbid him to do it.
