Taylor Swift hopes Zayn Malik ‘does not break Gigi Hadid’s heart’

American singer/songwriter Taylor Swift is concerned for Victoria’s Secret model Gigi Hadid who is rumoured to be romantically involved with former One Direction star Zayn Malik. The two are rumoured to be in the initial stages of dating.
“Taylor was actually surprised when she found out that Gigi and Zayn were dating,” a source told Hollywood Life. However, the insider said that the 20-year-old model assured the Red hitmaker “it was super casual”.
The Bad Blood singer feels Hadid should “take things slow and not rush into anything too intense with Zayn. She doesn’t want to see [Gigi] end up with a broken heart”.
Malik was previously in a long term relationship with Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards. The two started dating in December 2011 after meeting on the sets of The X Factor.

They got engaged in August 2013 and were reportedly planning to get married at Disneyland Paris in June. However, Malik called off the engagement in August this year. “Taylor reminded Gigi of the way Zayn broke up with his last girlfriend and told her to be careful,” the source said.
In August, Swift’s boyfriend, Scottish singer/DJ Calvin Harris had a Twitter war with Malik. The social media feud was over the Wildest Dreams singer’s decision to take her music off Spotify. “Taylor is not the biggest fan of Zayn, especially after he dissed Calvin [Harris] in such the public way,” the insider added. “Don’t expect to see Taylor and Calvin going on any double dates with Gigi and Zayn!”
