Even the Man of Steel is just an average Joe in New York City. Henry Cavill, the actor who puts the ‘Superman’ in the ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ film, hung out in the middle of Times Square and nobody recognized him!

Henry Cavill, 32, may be a big shot in his home of Metropolis, but in the Big Apple, Superman is just another tourist. Even when Henry posed next to a giant Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice billboard in the busiest part of New York City, nobody recognized him!

Dear Doubter,” Henry wrote on his March 16 Instagram video. “The Glasses are good enough. Regards, Superman.” Henry proved that Clark Kent’s disguise could actually conceal his secret identity – at least in one of the most populated cities in America. Henry even wore a Superman shirt with a giant S on his chest and no one seemed to notice him.
While Henry tagged his post “#WhoWillWin,” he definitely scored some cool points by dubbing his video with Stevie Wonder’s, 65, song, “Higher Ground.” Maybe he was sending a message to Ben Affleck’s, 43, Batman about how Henry can fly? Make sure you include Stevie’s entire Superstition album on your Super Hero Playlist after signing up for unlimited and ad-free streaming music here.
Of course, people might have noticed Henry had he taken off his coat and shirt. After all, the Last Son of Krypton proved he was indeed the “man of steel” with a pic of his rock-hard abs. “Warm up phase for Superman training,” Henry wrote, proving that Batman has a huge fight on his hands when Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice comes out on March 25.

Henry’s girlfriend, Tara King, 19, certainly felt super when she walked the red carpet with her hunky boyfriend at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. Despite the age difference between Henry and his Bristol University student bae, the two seemed to be as close as can be. We definitely know whose side she’s on!
